Cookies and Tracking
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies BridgeMeet uses, and how to control them. We keep it simple: no advertising, no cross-site tracking.

1. What These Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as basic analytics scripts, help a site remember your choices and understand how it is used. This policy covers the BridgeMeet web panel and marketing site.
2. What We Actually Use
We keep our use of these technologies to the minimum needed to run the service:
- Language preference
- A single cookie that remembers your chosen language for about a year, so the site opens in the right one.
- Sign-in
- Session cookies from our authentication provider that keep you securely signed in while you use the panel.
- Cookie preferences
- A cookie that stores the choice you made in the banner, along with its date, so we do not ask you again on every visit.
3. Your Consent
The first time you arrive we show a banner with three options: accept everything, reject what is optional, or open the preferences panel and decide category by category. We store your choice along with its date and honour it until you change it.
- Necessary: they keep your session open, remember your language and store this very decision. They cannot be switched off, because the site does not work without them.
- Audience measurement: counts visits anonymously and in aggregate. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so it runs by default and you can switch it off whenever you want.
- You will not find an advertising category, because we do not run ads and we do not share your data with advertising networks.
4. Analytics and Telemetry
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which pages are visited and keep the site fast. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device: each visit is counted through a temporary identifier derived from the request itself, which is discarded after 24 hours. It builds no profile of you, does not follow you across other sites, and we do not sell that data. Even so, you can switch it off from the preferences panel.
5. Managing Cookies
You have two ways to control them. The first is the BridgeMeet preferences panel, reachable from the footer. The second is your browser, where you can clear or block cookies from any site. Note that blocking the sign-in cookies will prevent you from staying logged in, and clearing the preferences cookie will make us ask you again.
6. WhatsApp Interactions
BridgeMeet does not use cookies inside WhatsApp conversations. There we process only the data needed to schedule and confirm appointments, as described in our Privacy Notice.
7. Updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service or in the law. The current version is always available here, with its last updated date.
